Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • We do not have a sales team. We do not have fancy marketing. We do not even have free coffee. All these costs typically get built into the price other consulting firms charge you.

We also strongly encourage you to utilize our Consulting-on-Demand offerings (“Insights” and “Tools”) to minimize costs from the onset. When AI is “prompted” correctly, AI can be as smart as a PhD. AI is accessible 24/7. And AI costs nothing more than the price of electricity.

  • We specialize in AI projects because we believe in its transformative power. With that said, our core competence is translating abstract technical concepts into impactful business solutions. As a result, we are capable of supporting you through a broad range of projects in the field of analytics and technology. • There are a lot of bold proclamations out there and it’s scary. In fact, the World Economic Forum believes that AI will eliminate 92 million jobs by 2030. However, in that same report, the World Economic Forum said AI will simultaneously create 170 million jobs by 2030 which means there would be a net creation of 78 million jobs. Every technology change has eliminated jobs and created new jobs. How many horse carriage builders still exist? How many people now work in the auto industry?

There are two important things to remember. First, when Alpha Go (AI) beat world-champion Lee Sedol in the highly complex game of Go, humanity thought it was doomed. But to this day, AI will always be outperformed by a human paired with AI. Second, NVIDIA CEO recently said, “AI isn’t coming for your job but someone who knows how to use AI is.” The key is to become skilled with AI and the fact that you are reading this right now shows you are prioritizing that.

  • Each AI platform has a different privacy policy and so it is beneficial to review their specific privacy policy. With that said most AI platforms include to options to 1) turn off the option to “Improve the Model for Everyone” to prevent your private chats from becoming part of AI’s knowledge base and revealed publicly, 2) turn off the ability to “retain memories” to prevent information from one chat to be used to help AI generate more personalized answers in your future private chats, 3) offer an enterprise plan which automatically disables “Improve the Model for Everyone” and includes additional certifications (SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 42001, etc).

  • Yes, given the generative nature of GenAI, it can occasionally “hallucinate” or make up answers. Fortunately, hallucination rates have been steadily declining with each new AI model release. In addition, it is possible to further limit hallucinations by “grounding” AI. No, not like that. Grounding in the world of AI means providing AI with a knowledge base that it must retrieve all its answers from. It will limit the scope of what the AI can answer, but those answers will be accurate.

  • A small part of it might be choosing the right AI tool for your task. Although a large part of it likely has to do with giving the AI enough “context”, or background information. The average AI prompt is only 42 “tokens” (~35 words), but the average AI prompt can handle 250,000 tokens (~175,000 words). It is like having a Ferrari but only driving it 5 mph. Or maybe it can be better described as having a brilliant intern that has limited work experience. It needs a decent amount of instruction, but when it does it can produce awesome results.
